Are We Doing Enough?
Areas where water and land meet are ever dynamic, full of energy generated by water. This energy erodes and changes landscapes. Cliffs collapse, islands shrink, disappear or form, dunes and coastlines change, breakwaters and jetties weaken, roads and infrastructures de-stabilize, rivers change their course, banks of water bodies and waterways de-stabilize and cause flooding.
The importance to taking action now to mitigate these effects cannot be understated or undermined, especially in light of the global climate change.
